Cardinals

This morning I was working in my kitchen, which has a window that overlooks the neighbor's front yard. Our neighbor passed away last fall, but before his death, he was a spectacular gardener. The flowers and plants that he had in his yard looked amazing every year. The house is currently up for sale, but there are many perennials coming up. This morning, I saw two bright red cardinals doing what can only be described as "playing chase" - flying and dodging through the plants. It made me smile and brought a beautiful moment of peace. I wish the same for everyone!
