My oldest son asked me an interesting question at the dinner table last evening. He wanted to know if I wished I could be a child again. Honestly, no I don't. I do however, wish that time passed a little less quickly and that we had more relaxing times in our lives. I can't imagine going back to a time when these three little people weren't in my life. Probably shouldn't say little, as the oldest is almost as tall as I am! At the same time, I was happy to hear each of them say that they preferred being kids because it means they are relatively happy children!
My youngest just got excited because Dora the Explorer is on television. I said, "Oh, Dora is on!" He replied, "Yeah, it's your favorite Mom!" Uhm, not quite! I like to think that my TV taste is a little more sophisticated than that!
