Three exciting hours

Last night JR's team played their first tournament game. They were playing a team in the league that had only won one game. I kept telling my husband that at some point the law of averages was going to catch up and I was concerned that last night was going to be that game. After two innings, we were down 8-2. It was a very exciting last two innings though, and we prevailed 13-9. It took three unbelievably hot hours to complete the game, but it was fun to come out on top. There was even a young man who got his first hit of the entire season! We had planned a team pizza party after the game regardless of the outcome, and it was a very fun celebration. The boys play again this evening, and if that is a win, another tomorrow!
