Our weekend away

We all had a fabulous weekend away. Bright and early Thursday morning we were on the road to deliver the kids to our in-laws. They were definitely ready for them, as they practically pushed us out the door so they could take the kids on their first adventure. Thursday evening we had dinner out and sat around with another couple to play some board games. Friday we were up and off to the Longaberger homestead, one of my favorite places! Two more couples arrived Friday evening and we had such a great evening! Saturday the guys were out riding bikes and golfing while the ladies went to a movie, then the evening was dinner out and ice cream stops before some hit the pool and others played more games. In the meantime, my kids were having fun at an aviary, the Smurfs movie, an outdoor church festival, an indoor playground, and lots and lots of fun food. I'm very grateful to my in-laws who can allow us a weekend away by taking care of the kids. We are currently working on laundry and getting caught up before we hit the road again on another fun adventure later in the week!
