Longer days

Not only are we coming up upon the longest days of sunshine, but we have now officially been out of school for three weeks.  I find it interesting how much slower the days seem to pass by.  During the school day, it seems as though, even though I have 8-1/2 hours to myself each day, the days fly by.  It's probably because I know how crazy the schedule can be once the kids are home and there is homework to be done and taxiing to and from various events...and with Andrew working it's usually just me.  Even though we are getting up over an hour later each morning, I am still astonished when it isn't later in the day.  I am so very much enjoying the slower pace and feel of longer days.  I really enjoy our summer!
