Summer is flying by...even Robert commented on that yesterday. Gratefully, he still has seven weeks until school begins and the younger two have eight. We've been out for four weeks so we aren't even half way done. I try to remind myself of that as I already start to dread the beginning of the school year. It's going to be crazy, but I try to enjoy the slightly less crazy summer.
Right now we are under a tornado watch until 5AM. In my mind, I'm writing this Wednesday night, but I guess technically it is Thursday morning. The weather reports are indicating it could be the strongest winds we've had since Hurricane Ike came inland in 2008. We also had a very strong derecho come through four years next week, so I guess maybe we are due. I'm realistic enough to know that I won't sleep well until the storm system is through. Fortunately we are in the western part of the viewing area and I might get to be in bed by 3:00. Andrew went on to bed and I know he'll let me sleep tomorrow if I need to do so.
Looking forward to a rather unscheduled weekend!
