Another "spring forward" time change is in the books. I think we all enjoy the extra hour of daylight, but it really feels as though it comes at a price. Yesterday, not only did we lose the hour of sleep, but I was the Sunday School volunteer so I was definitely up and moving. Robert had to work really late Saturday night, but Andrew stayed up to wait for him since I had to be the one up earlier in the morning. After church, the kids had a meeting and we had to help with set up for an event. I then made a trip about an hour north for a funeral visitation, and when I came home we ate dinner, spent some family time, and eventually went to bed. I never felt overly tired at any point during the day.
Today though...today is another story. As so often happens when I my sleep is thrown way off, it is the next day that is the roughest. I was still asleep when my alarm went off this morning which in many ways was wonderful, but it definitely meant I wasn't ready to get up yet. Fortunately, I am only working half day today, and hopefully, there is a nap in my future. I always feel as though the time change throws us off for the entire week!
