Home with a sick little guy

As with any parent, I absolutely hate and detest when my kids are sick.  There are few things in life that make me feel more helpless, and I can't even imagine if it was something more serious than the little cold Thomas has.  He is a kid that when he gets something respiratory, it often goes downhill quickly.  Tuesday evening I noticed the first indications of cough, and yesterday the sniffles began as well.  He went about his day and did okay, but I knew he could awaken today being miserable.  Sure enough, he looks like a truck hit him.  The good news is that there is no fever, and the cough medicine is working enough to let him sleep.  It's also not the worst cough I've ever heard from him, so I'll take it.  Hopefully he'll be better tomorrow!
